CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
The Y’s Child Development Center in our Hillsborough and Somerville branches provide care for children ages 6 weeks to six years old in a value based program to foster the growth and development of children and their families by implementing an educational, safe and nurturing environment. Our program is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children by providing experiences that enrich and enhance each child’s cognitive, social and emotional development. Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self and teacher directed activities. Activities include a varied academic curriculum including music, structured fitness activities, swim lessons, and a weekly Spanish lesson. Youth programs are available for an additional fee. At the Y we are more than a center, we are a family.
